In my head, Tony finds Steve staring at the microwave with a puzzled expression during Steve’s first day at Stark Tower. Two jokes and a patronizing explanation of the Magic Cooking Box later, Steve gently informs Tony that he knows how to work a microwave just fine… but that he wasn’t sure where the ‘defrost’ function on this one was, because it’s not labeled and Tony doesn’t keep the manual on hand and it’s really quite helpful to do that, you know, just for future reference.
Tony has no idea where the defrost function is, and slinks away muttering about asking Pepper.
